Ciro Vitiello is an electronic artist from Torre Annunziata (Naples) based in Milan. His last work, “The Island of Bouncy Memories” was released on Hundebiss & Haunter Records in 2024. His compositions are a hypnotic fusion of influences drawn from the ambient and noise culture, weaving together an emotional sonic tapestry Ciro’s sonic signature is distinguished by his utilization of distorted analog synthesizers, evocative field recordings, as well as the incorporation of noises and acoustic instruments. This eclectic blend creates a unique dimension of music where distortions and thunderous loudness collides, forging a mesmerizing auditory experience.
In January 2022, he released his latest collaborative work on Opal Tapes (UK) with the producer Talpah and his solo works have been published on Aught/Void (CAN) and Strange Rules (UK) . During 2021/2023 Ciro Vitiello performed his projects live in the UK, at Cafe OTO in London, The White Hotel in Manchester, The Lubber Fiend in Newcastle, and throughout Italy. He has also personally curated a Radio show for BBC Radio 6 and an NTS radio show, “Napule ‘e Notte” and various shows for Radio Raheem at the Milano Triennale.
Ciro Vitiello is an artist of the SHAPE+ platform for innovative music and interdisciplinary art, co-funded by the European Union and Pro Helvetia.
