‘Santa Melodica Orchestra’ is a sound performance for twenty-five performers, melodicas, cable tubes and balloons by Andreas Trobollowitsch. While playing, each performer swings their instrument at a certain speed. Together they create an arpeggio effect that constantly changes due to shifts in speed, turning the performers into a continually transforming kinetic organism. Andreas Trobollowitsch is a Vienna-based musician, composer and sound artist. He works extensively in the fields of electroacoustic composition and improvisation, and has composed for dance, theatre, film, and radio.

Watch the performance recorded at TodaysArt Festival in the Hague in September 2017.
